The AquaValve is capable of sub irrigating up to four large plants when used in a suitable tray and connected to a low pressure (<8 psi) water source through it's 1/4" compression fitting.

The AquaValve operates by first flooding the tray with approximately 1" of water/nutrient solution at which point it will then wait for the plants to consume the nutrient before it re-floods the tray with a fresh batch of solution. In this fashion, the AquaValve automatically cycles your plants through a complete wet/dry cycle much like natural rainfall. Refer to product image for illustration of this cycle.
