Drip Irrigation FAQ

Generally in a drip irrigation system, water and nutrients are pumped out of a reservior through a main line (1/2"). Off the main line are smaller line (1/4") which run directly to the plants base. Typically flow rates range from .25-2 gph. A wide variety of configurations can be made out of the hose, hose fittings, and drip emitters. See systems such as the Quantum, and WaterFarm.
