Deep Water Culture
Deep Water Culture is a method which uses rockwool, net pots, vine clips or other devices to support the plant while its roots grow completely submurged in nutrient solution. The nutrient solution is oxygenated by a bubbler. This technique can be used for plants and vegetables including strawberries, melons, and cucumbers.
