The HID-2 has many features including a 24-hour DIGITAL time-clock that is extremely accurate and EASY to use. It has a battery backup to ensure continued function even after power outages.

Tha HID-2 comes with a remote temperature sensor that detects unsafe temperatures and will activate the "Hi-temp shutdown" feature if air temperature rises above the adjustable setpoint that the user selects. This feature will protect plants from overheating by disabling HID lights in the event of a ventilation or cooling failure.

The "Hot-start" prevention feature ensures that your HID lamps will cool properly before re-firing in the event power is momentarilly turned off.
