Chi stands for chitin, the substance that makes up the strong outer shells of insects and ocean crustaceans. This same chitin gives plants the strength they need to ward off fungus and insect attacks. Made from ocean crustaceans, Chi causes the thickening of plant cell walls, providing plants with an extra layer of protection. Chi also increases fruit yield and encourages stem growth and root formation.
